BLUFFTON, South Carolina – The Cottage Café Bakery and Tea Room in rustic Old Town Bluffton has received numerous requests over the years from customers to publish a cookbook. They are happy to announce the release of The Little Cottage That Could Cookbook, a collection of customer favorite recipes.
This award winning café has been in business since 2009 and is well-known for its sophisticated fare. Built in 1868 by Confederate soldier J.J. Carson, it has served not only as a home, but also as a church along its way to becoming the beautiful backdrop of the Cottage Café. Perfect for breakfast, lunch, tea, dinner and Sunday brunch, the Cottage also is perfect for private dinners and parties. With over 20 different fresh-baked, from scratch, made-by-hand desserts to choose from daily, it’s no wonder customers have been asking for these delicious recipes.
The Little Cottage That Could Cookbook has categories like “Cottage Cakes”,“Sweet Little Things” and” From the Tea Room”. There is a section of “Purdy Southern Specialties” and let’s “not forget” the category “Don’t Forget Your Greens!” The pages are filled with 94 delectable recipes!
Copies of The Little Cottage That Could are available at The Cottage Café on CalhounStreet, the farmers market of Bluffton and online at www.thecottagebluffton.com. Books are $14.95 each and would make a great holiday gift.
